Vehicle Oxygen Sensor for Benz
1. Product Introduction
Automotive oxygen sensor is the major sensor component in electronic fuel injection engine control system, and is the key part to control automotive exhaust emission, reduce automotive pollution and improve fuel combustion quality.
Oxygen sensor is used in the feedback control system of the electronic control fuel injection device, to detect the concentration of oxygen in the exhaust gas and the air fuel ratio.
It is also used to monitor theoretical air fuel ratio (14.7:1) combustion in the engine, and to provide feedback signals to the computer. A lot of factors can affect the relative richness or leanness of the fuel mixture, including air temperature, engine coolant temperature, barometric pressure, throttle position, air flow and engine load.
There are other sensors to monitor these factors, too, but the O2 sensor is the master monitor for what's happening with the fuel mixture. Consequently, any problems with the O2 sensor can throw the whole system out of whack.

5. FAQ
Q1: Where will show the oxygen sensor trademark or factory logo generally?
A:There will be laser marking on the outer protection tube of the head of the oxygen sensor, marking the important information of the oxygen sensor, such as OE number, part number, brand, production date, applicable models, etc., the marking of oxygen sensors of different brands Label styles.
Q2: What is a part number? How does it relate to the car model?
A:Although there are only a few types of oxygen sensors, butthere are more than 1,000 models for different cars. Each type of oxygen sensor has a unique serial number defined by the host. We call this number the part number. Each serial number defines the type, cable length, and connector of the oxygen sensor. In the aftermarket, the part number is Oxygen's unique ID.
Q3: What are the performance requirements? How to simply test?
A: From a professional point of view, there are many test indicators; from a use point of view, it is sensitive, reliable and stable. A simple test is a multimeter and an alcohol lamp (which can also be replaced by a lighter). First, use a multimeter to measure the resistance corresponding to the two white wires, which are all qualified at 711 ohms, and then switch the multimeter to the 2V DC voltage test file, and the test lead touches the gray wire. And the black line, put the sensor head on the lighter for a while, and the multimeter indicates that it jumps from about 0.0V to 0.6~0.8V, which preliminarily shows that the oxygen sensor is good. If there is a problem with a simple test, the oxygen sensor must be bad.
